For this video I tried out the Adobe Character Animator, however, I did the eyelids separately inside Premiere. As a first try, it was pretty good. It would have taken me forever to sync moving lips to the audio.

With Character Animator, it was synched in a matter of minutes. But, you can't get around the learning curve if you want to seriously learn this program, because there's lots of knobs and switches to coordinate.
